The Shetland Moving Image Project has been set up to carry out research into the quantities and nature of old cine and video film in Shetland with a view to collecting and preserving it in the future.

It is hoped that there will be enough material and interest to set up a Shetland Moving Image Archive.

The Shetland Moving Image Project is not yet collecting film but would love to know if you have any old cine or video film related to Shetland or have any ideas that you would like to contribute or discuss.
